These Terms govern use of North Codex's private, internal social-media connector (the "Connector"). The Connector is not offered as a public service. It is intended only for people authorized by North Codex to manage North-owned social accounts.
Authorized use
You may use the Connector only if North has authorized you and you have authority to connect and manage the relevant social-media accounts. You must follow the terms, policies, and content requirements of each connected platform.
You may not use the Connector to access another person's account without permission, evade platform restrictions, distribute unlawful or infringing material, interfere with the service, or attempt to obtain credentials or data you are not authorized to access.
Human approval requirement
Automated tools may generate or format draft content, but they do not approve it. An authorized human must review the exact content, media, disclosures, and destination before a post is scheduled or published. The operator is responsible for confirming factual accuracy, rights to media and music, accessibility, required advertising or AI disclosures, and compliance with platform rules.
Connected platforms
The Connector relies on third-party platforms and software, including TikTok and the self-hosted Postiz application. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies. North does not control and cannot guarantee the availability, review decisions, API behavior, or continued compatibility of third-party services.
Account security
Authorized operators must protect their login credentials, use appropriate account security controls, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Platform passwords should be entered only on the platform's own authentication pages.
Intellectual property
North retains its rights in North-owned branding, content, and workflow materials. Connecting an account does not transfer ownership of content or third-party intellectual property. Operators must have the necessary rights and permissions for anything they upload or publish.
Suspension and termination
North may suspend or revoke access to the Connector when needed for security, compliance, maintenance, or misuse prevention. Operators may stop using the Connector and revoke connected-platform access at any time through the relevant platform settings.
Disclaimers
The Connector is provided for internal operational use on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, North disclaims warranties that the Connector will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every platform change.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, North will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Connector, third-party platform actions, or content published through a connected account.
Changes
North may update these Terms as the Connector or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
